Fun facts about HOU & the Children

What languages do the children speak?
The children speaks the tribal language (Lahu, Lesu, Ahka, Hmong) and Thai, and some of the older ones can even chat with you in basic English.
What is a typical day for the children and HOU?
Our days are pretty packed here! We start at 6am with breakfast and farm chores. The kids head off to school by 7:00am and come back around 4:30pm. After more chores, they love blowing off steam playing sports or cycling in our big yard. Two nights a week, they squeeze in some English practice, and on another night, Pii Somchart leads devotions. Homework wraps up the night, and they're off to bed by 9pm. It's a full but happy life here.
